Based in the Northeast United States, KeySpan Energy is now named National Grid. National Grid is electricity and gas company and one of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the world.
KeySpan Energy required the design and installation of four 69kV substations. It was essential for all four substations to be online and generating gas to the local community prior to the summer peak.
Permit drawings were delivered in just five weeks. The end design was an on budget, technically appropriate, compact substation, which offered flexibility in the site selection. The first substations were energized within a four month period.
